Send your official high school or GED transcript, as well as official transcripts from all colleges previously attended.
Step 3: COMPLETE FINANCIAL AID FORMS
Free money in the form of grants and scholarships are available in addition to student loans.

Step 4: SUBMIT PROOF OF RESIDENCY
To qualify for in-district tuition, prospective students must submit proof of residency within district boundaries. See www.oakton.edu/finaid/proof.
Step 5: COMPLETE PLACEMENT PROCESS
Because your success matters, placement tests determine your appropriate course placements based on English and math scores. Visit www.oakton.edu/studentservices/testing for more information.
Step 6: ATTEND NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
In-person and online sessions help new students acclimate to Oakton student life.
